Coursework submitted after the specified deadline is automatically subject to a lateness penalty. Extensions to coursework deadlines can only be granted by level/programme coordinators, not by individual lecturers or tutors. Extensions will only be granted in special circumstances. In particular, extensions will not normally be granted for clashes in coursework deadlines. Any special circumstances must be documented immediately through the self-certification system, and followed up with the coordinator if you are seeking an extension or other allowance. more details
